Wildlands Eco-Forestry Inc. did an amazing job to ensure that my rural home – forest fire risks were successfully addressed.  The work that was done by Willdlands addressed issues such as brush and woody debris close to the house as well as the de- limbing of the larger trees in closer proximity.  The advice given for actions needed to further  fireproof my rural home was very useful and professional.  Highly recommend their friendly and professional services.

It was a bit of a mystery to us beforehand just what we would see and do, and you two explained and showed us the overall plan and the methods to contain and restrict the effects of wildfire in the zones encroaching on human habitation and access. I really appreciated seeing the air photo maps initially to get an idea of the 2km ring around Invermere, the drainages, and the work on First Nations land. You both seemed very open to our inexperienced questions, and willing to let the tour take the shape that the group could manage. I hope that you will offer similar tours again, for Wings Over The Rockies or other groups. You did a great job!

Working with the Wildlands Eco-forestry the past year to restore ecosystem health and decrease fire risks on our land in Invermere, BC has been a wonderful and collaborative experience.  Right from the initial consult, the educational component they shared was very generous and valuable. And, as someone who’s been involved with ecosystem research, I can say their knowledge and sensitivity toward the ecosystem is excellent.

The District of Invermere recently engaged Wildlands Eco-Forestry and Wildfire Protection to complete high priority wildfire fuel reduction work with the District’s Community Wildfire Protection Plan.  Wildlands Eco-Forestry provided professional full scope management of the project including everything from safety, training and productivity and at the end of the day, managed the project to be on time and budget.  Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Wildlands Eco-Forestry as a real solution for project implementation and management, especially where management resources such as time or expertise are a concern.
